Driving directions to CASA main campus
from Denver International Airport

The Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy's main offices are located in the Duane Physics Building, 3rd floor, C-wing, Room C333. Other campus offices are located in the Stadium Building between gates 3 and 4 across from Duane Physics.

  • From Denver International Airport exit onto Pena Blvd.
  • Travel on Pena Blvd. to I-70 West.
  • Travel on I-70 West to I-270 North towards Boulder.
  • I-270 will exit onto I-76 West.
  • Travel on I-76 West and immediately exit onto U.S.-36 West to Boulder.
  • As you come into Boulder U.S.-36 turns into 28th Street.
  • At the 1st stoplight (Colorado Ave.) turn left and travel west into the campus.
  • CASA is located in the Duane Physics Bldg. on the left side (Football Stadium is on the right).
  • Total drive is about one hour.

Driving directions to CASA Astrophysics Research Lab
on east campus from Denver International Airport

The Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy's Astrophysics Research Laboratory is located on the East Campus at 1255 38th St.

  • Directions are the same as above except when you come into Boulder turn right on Colorado Ave. and travel east to 38th St.
  • Turn left and you will immediately see the ARL building where you can park in the parking lot.

Public Transportation to CASA from Denver International Airport

  • An RTD bus schedule can be obtained by accessing the RTD website or calling the phone information center at 303-299-6000.
  • Airport shuttle service to Boulder can be obtained by accessing the Super Shuttle or by calling 303-227-0000. For other transportation information to Boulder access the Denver International Airport website.
