Graham Harper - Åstrophysicist
Lecturer in Astrophysics, Trinity College Dublin
Formerly Senior Research Associate - CASA
I am now a Lecturer in Astrophysics
at the School of Physics at Trinity College, Dublin.
My scientific interests are wide and
varied. My active research includes stellar atmospheres
(high resolution spectroscopy of atoms, ions, and molecules;
line formation, and multi-dimensional radiative transfer in complex
geometries), mass outflows from red giants and supergiants
(called stellar winds), ground and space interferometry
(centimetre, millimetre, and ultraviolet), and the interpretation of
astrophysical media through multi-wavelength observations
(radio, mid- and far-infrared, optical, and ultraviolet).
