Julia Kamenetzky

I am a graduate student in the Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  To read more about my research, see my CV, or find out more about me, use the links on the top right side.

In addition to my research, I am very interested in improving my skills as a teacher of astronomy, helping to advance the participation of underrepresented groups in STEM, and learning about the interaction between science and policy.

The photos above are, clockwise from the top left: (1) me in Chile on the way down from using the APEX telescope in the Atacama desert, (2) me in front of the CSO on the summit of Mauna Kea, Hawaii, and (3) the CSO dome while closed, during sunset.
