An AGN viewed at a resolution of 0.1"   -- 100 milli-arcseconds (Same as HST)

We have travelled 99.9% of the way to the Quasar, but are still 10000 light years away, about the distance from theEarth to the center of the Milky Way.  We see a bright point source with a faint jet.
